Should I Write Today?

Okay.  It’s happened to all of us.  You’ve resolved to be disciplined about your blogging so you’ve sat down in front of your computer ready and determined and …nothing.  Either your mind goes blank and the ideas aren’t crystallizing or  you have an idea of what you want to write about but words aren’t coming forth.  Here’s what I do.

1.  Read your favourite blog.  Ideally the blog and/or  post will be similar to what you want to write about.  This will give you ideas and inspire you.  When you are inspired your creativity flows.  My favorite blog for aesthetic and writing style is A Cup of Jo by Joanna Goddard, a blogger from NYC.  Can’t hurt that we share the same name and that  she lives in my favourite city in the world (besides Vancouver).  I enjoy blogs that share my aesthetic, point of view, values and provide insight…
