Hey everyone~! Our newest book review is on Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn and before we start we’d just like to caution any of our sensitive readers that this book does contain mature themes. With that out of the way; let’s continue onto the review.

Gosh, what can I say about this novel? Well, to start off, let me say this book was seriously intense to read and you would think that I’d expect that after Flynn’s latest novel Gone Girl but this book just hit me a whole lot harder than the last. Flynn really gives a whole new meaning to the term “dysfunctional family” in this chilling suspense novel. The book revolves around Camille Preaker, a reporter for a Chicago newspaper, who is sent back to her Missouri home town, Wind Gap, to investigate the peculiar murders of two pre-teen girls.
