I remember reading The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster, in elementary school. Since then I’ve probably read it 50 times-how appropriate! This book is really amazing. It’s a children’s book so obviously I like it, but it is very well written and it also teaches you many things. I’m a huge fan of twisted logic and obscure views, so if you enjoy those things too READ THIS BOOK! It teaches you to view the world differently, say what you mean and mean what you say, and have a better appreciation of the things we take for granted. Every single time I travel this is my go-to book. It’s so easy to read which makes the time fly by. It also gives you a very inspiring and positive outlook after reading so it’s the perfect motivator before a trip!
